Metallic Epoxy Floors Built For West Texas

Marbled, one-of-a-kind decorative epoxy systems for showrooms, lobbies, and high-end residential garages across West Texas. Every pour is unique because the metallic pigments behave differently on every floor. No two installs look the same.

About Metallic Epoxy

What Is Metallic Epoxy?

Metallic epoxy is a multi-coat decorative system that creates a marbled, three-dimensional finish through the interaction of metallic pigments suspended in clear resin. The result reads almost like polished stone or molten metal: deep, reflective, with swirls and movement that catch the light differently from every angle. It’s the most visually striking concrete coating available, and the most demanding to install correctly.

Steadfast installs metallic epoxy throughout the Permian Basin for clients who want the floor to be part of the design statement, not just a functional surface. Showroom owners, dealership managers, restaurant designers, and homeowners who care about how their garage looks all gravitate toward metallic when they see one in person. The system runs higher than a flake or solid-color epoxy because of the artistry involved, but the visual impact is unmatched.

Why Steadfast For Metallic Epoxy

Three Things That Set This Install Apart

01

Custom Pour, No Two Alike

Metallic epoxy reacts differently every time. You get a one-off floor that nobody else in West Texas has. Color, swirl pattern, depth, and movement all customized.

02

Polyaspartic UV Topcoat

Every metallic install gets a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. That’s what protects the metallic layer from yellowing and abrasion. Skip this and the finish degrades within a year.

03

Multi-Coat Hand-Applied

Metallic is not a roll-it-on system. Pigments are hand-worked across the floor while the resin cures. Owner-led on every install because this is craft work, not production.

FAQ

Metallic Epoxy Common Questions

How long does a metallic epoxy floor take to install?

Most metallic installs take 3 to 4 days from prep through final cure. Day one: grind and prep. Day two: basecoat. Day three: metallic pour and immediate hand-work. Day four: polyaspartic topcoat. We schedule around your timeline and avoid weather-sensitive scheduling on outdoor projects.

Will my metallic epoxy floor yellow over time?

Not with the polyaspartic topcoat we install. UV exposure is what yellows resin systems. Our standard build has a UV-stable polyaspartic over the metallic layer specifically to prevent yellowing. Floors installed five years ago are still reading the same color today.

Can I pick the colors for my metallic epoxy?

Yes. We work from a stocked palette of metallic pigments and can also custom-blend if you have a specific color target. Most clients pick 2 to 3 colors that get hand-worked into a marbled pattern. We can do single-color pours too if you want a more uniform look.

How does metallic epoxy compare to flake or solid-color epoxy on price?

Metallic is the most expensive epoxy system per square foot because it’s a hand-applied multi-coat decorative system. A typical metallic install runs $9 to $14 per square foot installed. Flake systems run $5 to $8. Solid-color runs $4 to $6. The price reflects the artistry and the topcoat.

Is metallic epoxy slip-resistant?

Slip resistance is added at the topcoat layer. We can broadcast a fine anti-slip aggregate into the polyaspartic topcoat for an OSHA-compliant finish without ruining the visual depth of the metallic layer underneath. Standard for restaurant and retail installs.

Can metallic epoxy be installed in a residential garage?

Yes, this is one of our most popular residential applications. A metallic garage floor reads as a custom finish that lifts the entire space. Pairs especially well with a clean garage interior and high-end vehicle storage.
