West Texas’s Trusted Coating Crew
Steadfast Concrete Coatings is a locally owned and operated company based in Odessa, TX. Owner-involved, communication-first, and built on the belief that proper prep is what separates a floor that lasts from one that fails.
Built On Honest Work
Some businesses find their identity by pointing at what’s broken. We found ours by deciding what excellent looks like and never moving off it.
Proper surface prep to the right concrete profile. Materials we stand behind without hesitation. Real cure times, no shortcuts. And straight communication with every customer, from the first phone call to the final walkthrough.
That standard has earned us the trust of general contractors, facility managers, and homeowners across West Texas who’ve already learned that cutting corners costs more in the long run. They come to Steadfast because they want it done right the first time, and they know we deliver.
Commercial. Industrial. Residential. The project changes. The standard doesn’t.
Four Things We Don’t Compromise On
Every floor we install passes through these four standards. Skip one and the floor doesn’t hold up. We’ve watched competitors skip them and pay the price in warranty claims. We don’t.
Surface Preparation Is Everything
Concrete prep accounts for roughly 70 percent of whether a coating lasts. We mechanically grind every floor to the correct CSP profile, repair cracks and pitting, and shot-blast where the substrate demands it. Skipping prep is the most common reason coatings fail in West Texas, and the most common shortcut taken by lower-bid installers.
The Right System for the Application
An oil-field shop floor doesn’t need the same coating as a residential garage. A polished concrete commercial space doesn’t need the same buildup as a metallic decorative installation. We spec the system based on the environment, traffic load, chemical exposure, and aesthetic goals, not on what’s cheapest to install.
Communication Through Every Phase
You hear from us before, during, and after the job. We send photos throughout the install so you know what’s happening even when you’re not on site. If something changes, you’ll know about it the same day. No surprise change orders, no radio silence after we get a deposit.
Owner-Involved On Every Project
The owner of Steadfast is on every job, from the first walkthrough to the final inspection. That’s not a marketing line, it’s the operating model. When you call, you reach a tradesman who’s been on hundreds of West Texas floors. When something needs a decision, it gets made by someone who can actually make it.
Steadfast is owner-operated and the standard for the company comes directly from the man running it. Every estimate, every prep, and every walkthrough involves the owner directly. You won’t get handed off to a sales rep, a project manager, or a call center.
You Get The Standard-Setter, Not A Subcontractor
A lot of coating companies grow by hiring crews and stepping back. The standard slips. Customers stop talking to the person who made the original promise. Quality drifts toward whoever happens to be on the truck that day.
Steadfast is run differently. The owner is hands-on through every project, which means the company can only grow at the speed quality allows. That’s intentional. We’d rather do twenty jobs a year right than two hundred a year wrong.
- Direct phone access to the owner during the project
- Owner walks every estimate and writes every scope
- Final inspection done with the owner before final payment
- Warranty calls go straight to the owner, not a service desk
- Same standard on a residential garage as an oil-field shop
The Steadfast Approach
Three things define every project we take on. They sound simple. Doing all three on every floor is what separates a coating that lasts from one that fails before the next change in season.
Mechanically Profiled Concrete
We grind to the correct CSP for the system being installed, never chemical-etch and call it good. The right profile means deep mechanical bond, not surface adhesion. That’s why our floors don’t peel.
Proper Cure Times, Every Coat
Epoxies need 8 to 12 hours to cure between coats for full resin penetration. Polyaspartics cure faster but need correct temperature windows. We follow the spec sheet, every time, no matter the schedule pressure.
Walked And Documented
Every job ends with a final walkthrough alongside you. We don’t collect the remaining 50 percent of the project until you’ve signed off. You get photo documentation of the prep and install for your records.
